History
Bishop Neumann
Catholic Jr./Sr. High School is a Catholic diocesan co-educational high
school located in Wahoo, Nebraska, serving the students of ten parishes
in the surrounding areas of Saunders and Lancaster Counties. It was
first opened on September 1, 1964
Mission Statement
The mission of
Bishop Neumann Jr./Sr. High School is to foster strong Catholic
Christian values for successful life-long learners.
Because God has
invested the human person with both soul and body, we believe in certain
values. We believe that the knowledge, value, and skills learned and
utilized through educational processes should assist each person in
finding purpose and happiness in life and for eternity.

administrators are certified by the State of Nebraska. Our school is

Bishop Neumann High
School is large enough to offer a wide
variety of courses and activities, yet small enough to give you the
personal attention you need. Our present enrollment in grades 7-12 is at
342 students.
Our programs are available to
students of all academic abilities. Students enter Neumann with
different abilities and levels of academic preparation, and our teachers
are flexible enough to guide each student toward success. Our teachers
know you personally, provide individual attention in your coursework,
and help you to achieve goals related to your educational and career
choices after high school.

| To graduate from Neumann High School, a student
must have earned a minimum of 240 hours of credit. The 240

welcome at Bishop Neumann High School, where we focus on the development
of the whole person-- spiritually, intellectually, emotionally and
socially. Our value-centered education provides a healthy environment
for your personal growth. Most importantly, Bishop Neumann High School
is a community of caring persons working together to develop your
highest potential.
Bishop Neumann High
School offers you the opportunity to
participate in a number of different extracurricular activities
including sports, drama, speech, chorus, band and others. Junior high
students practice for their sporting events during the school day.
Presently,
Bishop Neumann High School
has a reasonable book and classroom fee for Catholic families, and a
reasonable tuition for non-Catholic families. Bus transportation is
available for students who live in surrounding communities.
